How many times must I purge a journal before I am satisfied. Le sigh. Oh well, I hope this will be the last. This feels cleansing in a way. Certainly not healthy but not every good thing for me is healthy. I don't have a lot to say about the deleting of my entries, just that it felt like a new start, so I'll move on the grades.
Please note that I'm not particularly proud of my grades nor am I all that surprised in the first place.
Math: 60/100 [Passing Score: 65]
Okay, the passing grade is 65 so basically, I did fail the exam. I'm not all that broken up about it since I know Math was never my strong suit and I take a slight comfort in the fact that my quizzes and long test have a better score. I just can't memorize a lot of math concepts. That and for some reason, I was half-asleep. Which is weird because not only did I have a good night's rest, I also took a short nap the day before.
Physics: 62/100 [Passing Score: 65]
I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED, SELF. And you actually studied for Physics! Tut, tut. I think my worst mistake was doubting my answers in the first place. I noticed on the Scantron forms that I had the correct answer the first time but I chose to change it because I thought, 'But what if I'm wrong?' Ha, turns out that I was right in the first place, for a few numbers.
Filipino: 52/80 [Passing Score: 52]
Passed! But only barely. That's okay, though. I was never really good at Filipino to begin with, odd considering my nationality but eh, whatever. I'm just glad I passed. Sort of.
Christian Life: 63/85 [Passing Score: 55]
Okay, but I will strive harder! Because it's for Sir Jet! I like Sir Jet as a teacher and that fact alone makes me try harder. :D
English: 49/70 [Passing Score: 43]
Miss Milan, our English teacher, not only made the exam but told us that only 14 of us passed. I have no idea to what extent that's true but I'm glad I am one of those -supposed- 14. She was disappointed that so few of us passed and she said she gave clues! Apparently, inoculation is synonymous to immunization because they both start with an "i". This is one of her clues apparently. THANK GOODNESS I KNEW WHAT INOCULATION MEANT BEFOREHAND. I like Miss Milan and all, but no. Just no. All in all, the exam was okay. She had a lot of those sentence trick questions. The ones that all sound the same but really, they're not. :(
Economics: 42/55 [Passing Score: 36]
Probably my highest, I think. Economics is easy enough, Miss Tess, however, creeps me out.
